Leticia’s, the Castro Mexican restaurant known for cheese-laden plates and stiff margaritas, is shutting its doors once again, just shy of two years after reopening. Owner Leticia Luna’s comeback efforts appear not to have paid off too well this year, after she previously reopened and re-closed The Lineup in its original location at 7th and Harrison. Leticia’s reopened in January 2010 in the flatiron-shaped location at Market and Sanchez after a five-year hiatus, having previously existed in the space now occupied by Lime. As Tablehopper reports, the restaurant will close after December 31, according to a sign posted on their door. [Tablehopper]
