If you pay attention to the restaurant scene in San Francisco and LA, you’re probably familiar with Farmshop, Jeffrey Cerciello’s Santa Monica bakery and restaurant. For much of his career, Cerciello worked alongside Thomas Keller as culinary director of Bouchon, Bouchon Bakery, and Ad Hoc. Well now, Cerciello is coming back to the Bay to open a second Farmshop in Marin.
The Northbay outpost will be different from the Santa Monica Farmshop: it will be all restaurant and no shop. Located in Larkspur at the Marin Country Mart, construction for Farmshop is expected to being early next year. The menu will be similar to what is served at Farmshop in LA, but with a few Mediterranean tweaks.
