Though 2011’s all but wrapped up, there doesn’t seem to be much of a slowdown in new restaurant openings. Hickory Lane just opened on Fairmount Ave., and it will soon be sharing newcomer status with forthcoming Lemon Hill (opening on December 28) and a relocated Fish (possibly on New Year’s Eve). And this morning the folks at Iron Hill tweeted that they expect to have their Chestnut Hill location ready to fully rock in about two weeks. The restaurant and brewery, which will be brewing things up at 8400 Germantown Ave, is the local brewpub chain’s first within Philadelphia’s city limits. [Twitter/Iron Hill]
