Local upstart honeygrow, which expects to one day rule the world with its fast/cas stir-fry, salads and shakes concept, will launch its first location in the former Pita Pit space on 16th and Sansom Streets next year. According to a prepared statement, honeygrow was founded by partners Justin Rosenberg and David Robkin, who are gunning for a momofuko-like vibe, and plan to serve stir-fry dishes that include lettuce cups with a choice of wheat, soba and gluten-free rice noodles and house-made sauces like smoked oyster, Indonesian barbecue, spicy Szechuan, and ginger scallion. Prices will range from $8 to $10.
