Indie-lovers, foodies, and social activists will unite at Sundance this year, just a few weeks away, for the premiere of Finding North, the enlightening, if exorbitantly different from Top Chef, documentary that Tom Colicchio co-produced, and his wife Lori Silverbush, along with Kristi Jacobson, directed. The film, which debuts January 22 in Park City, is about hunger in America, examining the issue of food insecurity through the struggle of three families, with T-Bone Burnett behind the music. Moviemaking is a new, ahem, craft for Colicchio, and we wish him well.
