Wing-Seeking New Yorkers Liken Boston’s Buffalo Wings to Murder Scenes and Babies

Finding authentic buffalo wings in Boston is a Sisyphean task, reports the Globe. Their reporter tracks a pack of intrepid Upstaters throughout the city in search of Buffalo’s signature poultry. Despite high hopes, the pursuit goes relentlessly downhill.

Tucking into the massive wings at Silvertone, one diner feels like she’s “eating a baby.” Windy City Pizza’s wings, drowning in hot sauce, resemble a “murder scene.” Meanwhile, the meat at Jamaica Plain’s Jeanie Johnston Pub has a “moth-balled cabinet smell.” The herd needed to trek to Framingham (Framingham!) for passable wings, which were located at the Chicken Bone, the same spot that was recently made over on Spike TV’s Bar Rescue (and where President Obama’s uncle was arrested not long ago).

Alright, Buffalo News: Show us your best lobster rolls!! And no hiding behind the mayo!
