Ordinarily, we’d be afraid. But this dish was conceived by Eat Chef Will Gilson’s students from Newbury College’s culinary arts program, and you can taste it, and others, at his college-themed pop-up on December 12. Tickets are on sale now. Appropriately enough, the menu contains foods that would taste really good after, say, two to fifteen beers.
On offer:
Braised Buffalo Wing Taquitos with Sriracha sauce and Great Hill Blue Cheese
Mac and Cheese pop-tart with Goat cheese, Prosciutto and fig glaze
Pinenut Butter and Jelly Sandwich
Spinach and Feta Cheese puff with Greek Yogurt Dip
Truffled Hot Pocket Potpie with Wild Mushrooms and Local Vegetables
Local Seafood Ramen with Miso and Sesame
Spaghetti “Ohs” with Herbed Meatballs, Piquillo Pepper sauce and Pecorino Romano
Cereal-Milk Panna Cotta with Cocoa-krispy treat and Melted Ice Cream Sauce
Sorry, blinding hangovers and reruns of Jerry Springer are not included with your purchase. Tickets are $50; dinner happens on the Newbury campus starting at 6 p.m. Learn more and secure your seat right here.
