This Monday, the pub will host a “Save the Beagles” benefit that asks people to shun whatever animals comprise your regular hot dogs and opt for a vegan one here instead. Half the proceeds from every sale of a vegan hot dog will go to the Beagle Freedom Project’s efforts to liberate 41 of these annoying-but-adorable howlers from a research lab in Spain. In addition, every Golden Road brew purchased between 6:00 P.M. and 2:00 A.M. that day leads to a dollar donation to the same cause.
