She’s off the hook this year.
Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann tell Grub Street that even though they’re having about 25 people over for Thanksgiving, it’s basically a hands-off, stomach-open experience for them.* “I’m not doing any of the cooking, just a lot of the eating!” Hargitay tells Grub. It’s not that she can’t cook (she can), it’s just that her BFF happens to be kitchen goddess Katie Brown. “Katie is coming, and she handles everything … I guess I’ll be in charge of flowers and setting the table, but when Katie’s cooking, she’s cooking. She doesn’t need or want me in there.”
