A documentary about Starlite Lounge, the gay bar in Crown Heights that opened in 1959 and closed last year, is on a mission to raise more money to put toward postproduction. The filmmakers are hosting an event with a rough-cut screening at the LGBT Center on Thursday and a Starlite reunion party — organized to reinstitute the bar — is going to be held this weekend at a not yet finalized location.
