Tapestry, the successor to dearly departed Adsum and one of two spots we didn’t include in our Fall Restaurant Preview (Stephen Starr’s Route 6 is the other) because we didn’t believe they would open before the year’s end, is going to open tomorrow. Th Insider reports that Tapestry owner and Adsum co-founder Kar Vivekananthan has tapped Belvedere Business Group’s Rich Rivera to oversee operations. The bar and restaurant will have a more approachable, gastropub-y menu than its predecessor, and a more robust bar program. Twenty-four taps, 120 bottled beers, 200 different types of booze and 20 wines by the glass will be featured. [Insider]
