It turns out that the rumored partnership between Supper’s Mitch Prensky and Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co.’s Mike Welsh is no rumor at all. Foobooz reports that it’s all but a go. The restaurant, which at first was reportedly to go by the name Biddle — that’s since been rescinded — is going into the former home of Lucky 7 at 25th and Aspen. The plan is to serve comfort-y dishes of a swankier caliber, courtesy of Prensky, and what we assume will be a killer drink program from the thoroughly capable hands of Franklin Mortgage’s crew and former Garces barkeep Keith Raimondi, who is signed on as the new project’s general manager. The targeted opening date is December 12. [Foobooz]
