It’s Game on at Parlor Sports, From the Team Behind Trina’s Starlite Lounge

Parlor time!
Parlor time!

Parlor Sports will open on Thursday. It’s a casual “cowboy” concept from the team behind Trina’s Starlite Lounge, located right next door to the Inman Square hangout. What does cowboy mean, you ask? Shots paired with beers! And plenty of deliciously bad-for-you food, too.

Parlor time!

We’re not sure which sounds the most naughty: pretzels dunked in spicy queso, pepperoni rolls, or craft-beer-and-shot combinations. To add tasty insult to injury, this is a sports bar, so we’ll ingest these yummy sins in a sedentary stupor while watching people actually working off their calories. Oh well. We’ve long been fans of Trina’s and somehow we’re still alive, even though our most recent meal there consisted of a fried egg hot dog with coffee barbecue sauce and bacon.

Also note that there are eight TVs throughout the place, including one private screen at an eight-top table. It’s the only table in the place available for reservations, so plan accordingly.

As Chowder noted awhile back, Trina’s and Parlor Sports will retain separate entrances. Grub Street recommends that you retain a cardiologist.
