The former California Pizza Kitchen at 524 Van Ness Avenue (near McAllister) is seeing some fresh activity, and the Scoop gets word today that the man behind it is Roy Chou, with former Le Colonial chef Joseph Villanueva in the kitchen. The name is O3 Bistro & Lounge, and the concept is Asian-Californian fusion, which we hope will surprise us in a good way. They’re aiming for a January opening. [Scoop]
