
Basketball fans aren’t the only ones pissed over the ongoing NBA lockout, which has so far seen 30 canceled games. As Crain’s is reporting, sports bar owners’ usual basketball-season profits have dwindled in the absence of TV-watching fans. Now the United Restaurant and Tavern Owners Association, as well as the Long Island Restaurant Owners Association, have signed a petition urging the NBA to get back on track.
