A few of New York’s most competitive chefs and restaurateurs competed in the ING NYC Marathon on Sunday, with Chipotle’s Nate Appleman making the best time at 3:45:42, beating Eataly’s Iron Man Joe Bastianich’s time of 3:47:03 by about two minutes. Richard Blais, who very much likes to win things, says he had cramping issues and clocked in at 4:31:54. Hopefully he wasn’t too hard on himself … that’s only five minutes behind that of fitness freaks Christy Turlington and Mario Lopez! Blais told fans via Twitter that he cried celebrated the run at Quality Meats. Congrats to all.
