Ming Tsai might discriminate when it comes to fish, but not when scouting out new hires, judging by a heartwarming speech he gave to Culinary Arts graduates at Billerica’s House of Correction. The inmates will hopefully land gainful employment after completing the program, and a gig at his Blue Ginger isn’t out of the question.
Said Tsai: “I don’t care if someone has been in prison. I don’t care about yesterday. All I care about is do you work hard, and do you have a base skill set … I would love to give someone a second chance. I have hired people out of prison before. I don’t judge.” Aw! [Chowder; Earlier]
