What to Eat at JoeDough, Now Slinging Sandwiches in the EV
As we told you they would, Joe Dobias and his girlfriend and business partner Jill Schulster have opened their East Village sandwich shop, JoeDough. The place itself is tiny and no-frills, with a vintage-y look (wooden counter, old-school Diet Coke menu). The nine sandwiches on the menu are mostly reimagined classics, including the L.E.S. French dip (tongue, horseradish, au jus) and the After School Special (white bread, fried bologna, mustard, potato chips). Also on offer: housemade sodas, coleslaw and potato salad, and s’mores. See the menu below and scope the sandwiches in our slideshow.
