As part of his Foodie Chap series on CBS, local reporter Liam Mayclem recently talked with renowned Bay Area chef Bradley Ogden. Ogden began his career at the American Restaurant in Kansas City in 1979, and later gained fame at the Campton Place Hotel and the Lark Creek Inn, now known as the Tavern at Lark Creek and which gave birth to the successful Lark Creek Restaurant Group. Ogden is now promoting a new book of his favorite holiday recipes, and he chats with Mayclem about his favorite dish that his mom made (fried chicken), and who he’d invite, living or dead, to an imagined dinner party.

Among the guests, he says, would be the OG of American foodies, Thomas Jefferson, and Ogden’s mentor, James Beard.
