The Tenement Museum is cooking up a food-themed event series, Appetite City, that “explores the unfolding food scene … against the larger backdrop of the city, its immigrant culture and history.” If that sounds sufficiently highbrow for your tastes, the first event happens October 24 and highlights the upcoming Kutsher’s, Jeffrey Chodorow’s Jewish-cuisine restaurant, with Zach Kutsher (of the Catskills resort family) and others on hand to speak.
