Say So Long to Tritone

We’re sad to report that Tritone, the South Street stalwart for cheap booze and live music, will close in January, ending its decade-long run of slinging $3 PBRs and shots of Jim Beam. Foobooz reports that Dave Rogers, who opened Tritone with business partner Rick “Rick D.” Dombrowolski (who passed away in 2007), is selling Tritone to Chris and Heather Fetfatzes, the duo behind Bella Vista’s Hawthornes. There’s no word yet on what the Fetfatzes have in mind for the space, but live music doesn’t sound like its going to be in the cards. Sara Sherr, who books many of the acts that play Tritone, put out the word that all scheduled shows are still a go. [Foobooz]
