Royal Tavern kicks off a new happy hour dealy this afternoon staring at 4 p.m. that’s geared specifically toward parents. They’re calling Pints for Parents, and this afternoon and every first Thursday of the month going forward, the Bella Vista restaurant and pub will welcome parents and their children in for specially priced drinks, camaraderie and fun times for grownups and the wee ones alike. On the flipside, the Oyster House will be working a little bit blue when it hosts Times Square’s infamous Naked Cowboy (aka Robert Burck) on October 18 for a special Naked Cowboy Oyster buck-a-shuck happy hour. Long Island Sound’s Blue Island Oysters, who named their farmed bivalves after the tighty-whitey-clad street musician, are bringing the oysters and their namesake to Philly for the evening. It’s probably best that you don’t bring the kids along for that one.
