What to Eat at Pulqueria, Rolling Out Its Full Food Menu Tonight
Brother-sister duo Christopher and Heather Tierney (Apothéke) opened their underground Mexican den, Pulqueria, a few weeks back with a menu of snacks and drinks. Now the full food menu from chef Nacxitl Gaxiola (La Superior) rolls out this evening. In addition to small bites like tuna tostadas and a tree of colorful salsas with chips, you’ll find enchiladas and “platos fuertes,” such as a grilled fish in banana leaf and a pork shank for two. The drinks menu highlights the fermented agave nectar known as pulque. Whet your appetite with our slideshow, and scope the full food and drink menus below.
