John Turturro really missed the ball. Diner’s Journal says that Ninth Street Espresso (whom Turturro wanted to make beautiful Brooklyn capus with) is partnering with Summit Bar’s Hamid Rashidzada and Greg Seider, and Motorino’s Matheiu Palombino, to launch Prima in the East Village. The project has been in the works for a while but should open on Wednesday. Daytime is designated for coffee; cocktails start at 5 p.m., and a small menu will be offered throughout.
