The Oakland bar/restaurant previously known as Clancy’s and then Sweet Jimmie’s (311 Broadway, Oakland) appears to have changed hands and will be revived as The Nite Lite. Grub Street discovers today that Sweet Jimmie’s — which was the site of a double homicide in April and which has been sporadically open ever since — has killed their Facebook page and likely won’t be reopening. The new owners are John Edward Nackley, an East Bay pediatrician, and Douglas Sangalang, a former guitarist in the Bay Area punk band Limp. No word on an opening date for The Nite Lite just yet.
