In case you hadn’t heard his earlier admonishments against the use of cell phones at the table, Michael Bauer took to the blog again this morning with photographic evidence (!) of how rampant all this restaurant-texting has become. He responds to a reader, who calls it “pretty dismal” that two out of three people had their faces in their phones in a Chron photo from last Sunday, taken at Boulette’s Larder for Bauer’s brunch roundup. Bauer couldn’t agree more, but he also knows this is great commenter bait: 329 and counting. [Between Meals/Scoop, Earlier]
