The hippest restaurant in the Mission has gone mainstream, ladies and gentlemen. Perhaps it was the mention in Bon Appétit that finally did it, but today Mission Chinese Food’s Danny Bowien made an appearance on The Martha Stewart Show on the Hallmark Channel, on a segment about “New Chinese Cuisine.” The video for his segment doesn’t appear to be online just yet, but the Scoop’s got a screencap (Bowien looks pretty pleased and amused) and here’s the recipe Bowien shared for hand-pulled Biang Biang Noodles. The episode re-airs tomorrow at 10 a.m.. Update: We have that clip for you, and sadly, Martha only flashes a picture of Lung Shan and never says the restaurant’s name!
