It seems rather unlikely that beer will ever cure breast cancer, but it can surely help raise awareness about it. That’s what Daniel Stern is banking on with his “Women of Beer” dinner tomorrow night at MidAtlantic. Along with bringing in some of the craft brew industry’s top women, and pairing eight dishes with 11 beers from the breweries they work for, he’s donating $50 from each $150 seat sold to the Philadelphia affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The beers and the beer makers they’re representing include: Carol and Jodi Stoudt from Stoudt’s Brewing Co., Whitney Thompson and Karen Noonan from Victory Brewing Co., Wendy Domurat from Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales, Suzanne Woods from Allagash Brewing Co., Megan Maguire from Brewery Ommegang, and Sebbie Buhler from Rogue Ales. Keep on reading to see the menu and the beers that will be paired with it.
