Today in celebrity-stalking news: The great Johnny Depp was recently in town for a Q&A; at UC Berkeley about his upcoming film The Rum Diary — which, like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, is based on a novel by Depp’s late friend and idol, Hunter S. And where did Anthony Bourdain have his pre-show meal before his appearance last week at the Paramount in Oakland? Miss Pearl’s Jam House, where chef Eddie Blyden sent him out some bone marrow.
