It looks like its going to be another day before Stephen Starr and his longtime menu development wiz Chris Painter open the doors of their swanky, Center City Italian effort, Il Pittore. On Monday, we mentioned that the restaurant’s opening was penciled for tonight, but a rep for Starr Restaurants tells Grub that the debut has been pushed back a day.
