Oakland: Chef Carlo Mirarchi of the celebrated Roberta’s in Brooklyn (which left Sam Sifton “breathless”) is coming west this weekend to do a guest-chef dinner in tandem with Kim Alter (of the upcoming Haven) at Plum in Oakland. It’s on Saturday, October 29, and the deal is five courses for $65, not including wine, cocktails, or tip. [Grub Street]
