What could possibly be more exciting than donuts and Korean fried chicken? Easy: Donuts and beer! And that’s what South Philly’s Devil’s Den is going with for its October 25 benefit for Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the city’s only no-kill animal shelter. Krispy Kreme is bringing the donuts, and the Double D is matching each with beers. Pairings include Krispy’s original glazed donuts served alongside Philadelphia Brewing Co.’s Joe Porter, and pumpkin spice cake donuts served with Weyerbacher’s Verbotem, a Belgian style pale ale. Ten dollars gets you three donuts and a flight of three beers. Four of those 10 dollars will be donated to PAWS.
