Harold Dieterle Heads to Brooklyn With His German-Italian Self

He’s always appeared to be more stoked about his German heritage than his Top Chef fame, and now Dieterle is taking his familial pride even further and opening the Marrow in Downtown Brooklyn, with dishes like “ostrich schnizel with quark spaetzle, braised cuttlefish with garlic bread and cured pork, bison carpaccio with wild rocket, gooseberries and miso dressing … ” confirms Diner’s Journal. The hotel-restaurant will have 90 seats and a lounge. His partner will remain Alicia Nosenzo, with whom he co-owns Perilla and Kin Shop. Auf Wiedersehen for now, West Village. [Diner’s Journal/NYT]
