Human-rights superstar and anti-apartheid hero Desmund Tutu turned 80 years old to a serenade from Bono, and the next day, publicly fed Bono a piece of birthday cake as a thank-you. It was probably a little deeper than that, but Grub Street kind of thinks that the luscious cream-puffy cake alone could make the world a better place. [Bon Appétit]
