Not that plenty of Chicago spots haven’t already invited Guy Fieri in to taste something with his fingers and go “Mmm! Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!,” but this month will feature the triple-D debut of five different comfort-foody Chicago establishments. Tonight’s episode is a reunion of sorts, since Chilam Balam’s Chuy Valencia actually worked at Fieri’s Johnny Garlic’s. Upcoming weeks will include Irazu (“Oatmeal shake! Whoaaaah”), DMK Burger Bar (“Daaaamn! Now that’s a burger”), Chuck’s Southern Comforts Cafe in Burbank (“My-my-my, that’s tasty”) and Big & Little’s (“Yesssss! That’s the way you do it!”).
