You think Co-op is a hot sauce— well, it is a hot sauce found at various hip locations around town, but more than that, it’s an organization helping young people in areas like Humboldt Park learn about and experience the arts through community service projects like painting murals. They also have a “hot glass” art program, appropriately enough for something that comes in bottles, and that program will be the beneficiary of an event tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 at Bucktown’s Birchwood Kitchen, 2211 W. North. There will be a silent auction and much to eat, and it’s your chance to meet a few of the local artists who help the kids— and the kids on their way to becoming local artists. $5 suggested donation to get in.
