Yum! To honor National Sandwich Day (Thursday, November 3), our favorite Inman Square sandwich emporium will give out free Harpoon to anyone who buys a sandwich. Not a bad deal, right? Especially since each sandwich is roughly the size of a well-built child.
The deal lasts from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Says owner Kosta Diamantopoulos: “We are poised to experience an era of sandwich unknown by generations past. The emergence of talented specialty sandwich chefs, the ever-increasing wealth of fresh local foods, combined with the continuous development of innovative kitchen techniques will produce a sandwich landscape where quality and creativity MUST be at the forefront, or face extinction.”
