A Fundraiser for Haight Fire Victims; John Campbell’s Irish Bakery Closes Two Locations; and More

Lower Haight: The Peacock Lounge (552 Haight Street) is hosting a fundraiser tomorrow for the now homeless victims of that apartment blaze above the Walgreen’s last week, where Wing Wings, Memphis Minnie’s, and Three Twins Ice Cream (also evicted, at least temporarily, by the fire) will be serving up grub for a $10 donation at the door. Upper Haight: The new Koja Kitchen food truck (short for Korean-Japanese), serving $5 KoJa sandwiches featuring toasted rice paddies as buns, will be at Off the Grid Haight on Thursday, October 6. [Twitter via SFoodie]
Cow Hollow: John Campbell’s Irish Bakery at Fillmore and Filbert is officially kaput, and the mini-chain’s Potrero location is also on the market. The original Richmond location (5625 Geary) remains open. [Scoop]
Mission: We broke the news about Ken Ken Ramen’s upcoming permanent spot, almost next door to the Corner on 18th Street, and now Eater gets a few more details about the menu expansion plans. [Eater]
