Whatever the hell Questlove’s mysterious food venture is, it won’t be revealed at this weekend’s Popped! Music Festival. Rainy conditions have forced a last minute change of venue for the fest. It’s now going down at Temple’s Liacouras Center instead of FDR Park. Its accompanying Food Bazaar, a small, but impressive convoy of food trucks and vendors from near and far, is being relocated to the Piazza. Sadly Quest Loves Food will not be coming along for the ride. But alas, there’s some good news to report. Almost as soon as Popped!’s peeps announced their festival shuffle yesterday, word came from Philly Homegrown! that Questo’s culinary concepts will debut at the Food Trust’s Chinatown edition of Night Market on October 6. If the ? Drumsticks that Feastival-goers got a taste of last week are any indication of what’s to come, it’s surely something worth waiting for.
