Extra Credit, The Franklin’s popular drink-and-learn, educational series had been put on hold over the summer. But just like a friend who had studied abroad for the semester, it’s back and it picked up some Italian influences along the way.
The Franklin’s September Extra Credit Menu, aptly named “Better Late Than Never” is full of Campari-centric cocktails: an homage to early 20th century Italy. A rep from Punch Media gave Grub Street the details.
During Extra Credit, Monday through Friday from 5pm - 8pm, The Franklin will offer variations on the worlds first European Cocktail:
The Classic Negroni (equal parts Gin, Campari, and Sweet Vermouth)
The La Rosita (Reposado Tequila, Campari, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters)
The Boulevardier (Bourbon, Campari, Sweet Vermouth)
The Old Pal (Rye, Campari, Dry Vermouth)
Cocktails are $9 and are offered in addition to The Franklin’s ongoing Summer Menu throughout the month of September.
