A Hamburger Today looks deep within to figure out why they just don’t love Corner Bistro as much as, say, Mr. Hamburger America. Theories as to why they don’t like it there when most New Yorkers really do include: the notion that the critic has had a series of bad one-offs (“luck of the draw”); those who rave about their delicious CB burgers were usually drunk while eating them; or, most likely, serious foodies have raised the bar over the years and Corner Bistro, confident in its own skin (or fat), doesn’t really need to care. Especially with Queens around the corner. [A Hamburger Today/Serious Eats]
