Tequila’s Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary; ’Tis the Season to Be Festy

Midtown Village: The annual Midtown Villgae Fall Fest takes place Saturday. Some of the hood’s most popular restaurants and watering holes (Barbuzzo, the Corner, Fergie’s Pub and more) will flank the streets, offering fest-goers fun festival-ly riffs on their menus, and of course, drinks! Center City: Tequila’s is celebrating its 25th anniversary through October 2 with specially priced lunch and dinner offerings and a host of new cocktails made with owner David Suro-Piñera’s boutique tequila, Siembra Azul. [Meal Ticket]
Fishtown: Rivercity Festival kicks off on Saturday at Penn Treaty Park at noon, with food from forthcoming Bubba’s BBQ, Hinge Cafe and Johnny Brenda’s. Philadelphia Brewing Co. and Sixpoint will host a beer tent. [Rivercity Festival]

South Broad Street: Tashan, the swanky Tiffin spinoff that Munish Narula opened a few weeks ago is offering a 777 Happy Hour every weeknight from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cocktails, wine and beers will be available for $7, as well as a sampling of menu items. [Foobooz]
Eraserhood: The Institute celebrates its third annual Charlie Brown Pumpkin Fest Saturday with dozens of pumpkin and autumnal dishes and a slew of pumpkin beers.
