Fast-casual Indian is having a moment. Hot on the heels of Old Delhi’s opening in Curry Hill, we have Desi Shack, a twelve-seat Indian and Pakistani eatery focused on skewer-grilled meats. There’s chicken tikka, lamb — or potatoes or paneer for vegivores, served either as a rice plate, salad, or paratha roll, with choice of veggies and chutneys on top; nothing on the menu tops $8.75. When the shop opens Monday, hours will be Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. See the menu below.
