
Living Social, that deal site that would probably like it if Groupon disappeared, just sent around the results of a survey of 4000 diners in 20 major cities about things like how much they eat out, how much fast food they eat, etc. The biggest shocker — and likely the result of the inherent bias of the survey respondents, namely people who frequent deal sites — is that a paltry three percent of San Franciscans claimed to be vegetarian or vegan, putting us behind places like Cleveland, Atlanta, and Dallas in the vegan race. So yeah, we call bullshit. Those 200 San Franciscans they surveyed are clearly not a representative bunch, because you can’t throw a pork belly in this town without hitting a vegan. [SFoodie]
