Good news for Jamawn Woods, he of the late America’s Next Great Restaurant–winning Soul Daddy restaurant chain: The Minneapolis Star-Tribune has it that he’s settled a lawsuit with ANGR and Chipotle, and he’ll open his very own Soul Daddy spot in his hometown of Detroit — and he’s doing away with the silly healthy soul food concept the show’s producers pushed for. Even still, this is somewhat unsettling: He says he has “100 percent” ownership, even though he actually has a partner; and he doesn’t know the exact address of the under-construction restaurant.
