FiDi: Michael Mina chef de cuisine Jeremy Ravetz has left, and his replacement is Michael Davis, who’s spent the last six years at Mario Batali’s Del Posto in NYC. [Scoop]
Mission: Garrett Oliver, of Brooklyn Brewery fame, is coming to Monk’s Kettle on Tuesday, October 4, to celebrate the release of The Oxford Companion to Beer, which he edited. Oliver will be signing copies of the book, and for $75 guests will get a copy as well as three seated beer tastings with appetizer pairings. Details here. [Grub Street]
Also, Dear Mom (2700 16th Street, at Harrison), from the Dirty Thieves guys and chef Laurent Katgely, is delayed until late October-ish. [Eater]
Tenderloin: We broke the news last week about Sao Bien (701 Larkin), and now, already, it is open, in the former Vietnam Too space. [Tender]

Windsor: We reported earlier this week on the “Mamma drama” happening up at Mamma Pig’s in Windsor, where operators Matthew and Bryan Bousquet walked away recently, after also closing their restaurant Bistro M. Now Mamma Pig’s owner is retaliating for some bad press, sort of, via some cheekily named specials on the restaurant’s Facebook wall. [Facebook via Scoop]
Woodside: Station 1 has named former sous chef Ryan Harris to the executive chef post. [Scoop]
