Remember how the Oakland restaurant currently known as Homeroom was once going to be called Little Mac — a tongue-in-cheek reference to the Big Mac which also referred to the primary menu item: mac and cheese? And remember how McDonald’s decided to go after them with a cease-and-desist order over that name, saying it violated their trademark? Well, the big Micky D’s is back at it, this time with Houston-based mac-and-cheese joint Jus’ Mac, which opened last year. C’mon guys. How do own the word ‘mac’!? [HuffPo]
