Grub wasn’t sure whether the mad-scientist chef in the opening montage for last night’s Emmy Awards was Marcel Vigneron or a look-alike, but Eater confirms it was indeed the Top Chef’er (arguably one of the most fascinating creatures of all TC seasons). Not too many celebrity chefs got airtime, other than a hysterical Gordon Ramsay and a few seconds of other cheftestants, and there were no big food TV wins, but it should be noted that a much more ladylike Padma pretty much killed it on the red carpet.
