Over the past 20 years, London Grill has been making its mark on Fairmount and Philadelphia as Bastille Day advocates, foie gras activists, and beer pairing pioneers. Owners Michael McNally and Terry Berch McNally have spent two decades serving their community. And according to a press release, later this month, they’ll be celebrating that history with a special anniversary event.
On Monday, September 19, London Grill will hold a three-part anniversary celebration; a Happy Hour Craft Beer Battle with a dual brew collabo (Chef McNally worked with Nodding Head, while Terry worked with Stoudt’s), an Anniversary Dinner and a DJ Dance Party, to finish off the evening.
The $40 per person anniversary dinner menu includes
Beer & Cheese Pairings from Nodding Head, DiBruno Bros. and Stoudt’s
Crispy Pork Belly with watermelon, sesame seeds and cilantro
Foie Gras Tuna Tartare
Stuffed Figs wrapped in bacon with blue cheese and arugula
Grilled Octopus with chorizo, potatoes, cured lemon and salsa verde
Pastrami Duck Breast served with house made sauerkraut and violet mustard
Marsala-Glazed Veal Cheeks with smoked mushrooms
Braised Black Kale with cippolini onions, pancetta and cream
Roasted Butternut Squash with pistachio pesto and breadcrumbs
Creamy Marscapone Polenta with a wild mushroom Bolognese
And dessert surprises, paired with Chef McNally’s house-made Limoncello
