Joe Beckham, owner of Center City’s Alfa, opened Loco Pez at the intersection of E. Norris, E. Susquehana and Cedar streets in Fishtown last night with little with little fuss or frippery. The Insider confirmed yesterday afternoon what had the rumor humming all day. The new Mexican spot, which occupies the former home of the forgotten neighborhood haunt Crazy Fish Saloon, serves burritos, tacos and other Mexican inspired specialties, as well as burgers in a kitschy room.
